Pecan Lodge is a BBQ restaurant located in Deep Elllum,Texas; filled to the brim with good flavor and good people. We had a challenge in designing something fitting to match such a soulful place.
We felt that the look had to be effective in representing a true authentic smoke barbecue staple; and a traditional woodcut language felt like a true match.
I decided that a loose and fun style would best fit the feel of the restaurant.
